I offer client-centered, trauma-informed counselling therapy services to youth and adults. I have extensive professional experience in the area of sexualized violence, trauma and abuse. I am knowledgeable with a variety of therapeutic approaches and interventions to best serve each individual client's needs. I adhere to the highest ethical standards and conduct while offering a safe, empowering and non-judgemental space for clients to facilitate their change and growth. I embrace the diversity and uniqueness of each person and the issues they bring to counselling.

Individual CounsellingOne-on-one confidential counselling therapy services are available to youth and adults for work, personal or life issues. I also offer debriefing sessions for front-line workers and professionals. Some topics covered by counselling may include:

ConsultingProfessional consulting services are available to individuals, schools, organizations, agencies, and government on a variety of topics. Consulting can be in the form of facilitation, collaboration, coaching and expert guidance. Please contact me for more information.

EducationEducation, presentations and workshops are available to individuals, schools, organizations, agencies, and groups.
Education and workshop topics may include healthy/unhealthy relationships, sexuality, trauma, sexualized violence, abuse, boundaries, and self-care for caregivers. Lunch & Learn also available. Please contact me for a specific topic. |

I offer a free 15-minute consultation for you to ask questions and gather the information you need to determine if you could benefit from counselling therapy. Please contact me to schedule your free 15-minute consultation.
The fee for counselling services is $140 per hour (HST included).

As a Registered Counselling Therapist I am an approved service provider for several insurance providers, Non-insured Health Benefits, Veterans Affairs Canada and Victim Services Criminal Injuries Counselling Program. Please contact me for more information.

c) Nonmaleficence ‐ not willfully harming clients and refraining from actions that risk harm
d) Autonomy ‐ respecting the rights of clients to self-determination
e) Justice ‐ respecting the dignity and just treatment of all persons
f) Societal Interest ‐ respecting the need to be responsible to society

Limitations of Confidentiality |
All information disclosed within sessions is confidential and will not be revealed to anyone without your written permission, except:
1. Where there is suspicion that a child or children (that is, someone who is PRESENTLY under the age of 18) has been or is being physically or sexually abused or neglected,
2. Where there is imminent harm to self or to others,
3. Where the client is likely to harm himself/herself unless protective measures are taken,
4. If a client reveals that he or she has been sexually abused by a health care provider (for
example, a psychologist, a nurse, a physician), the counsellor is obliged to report the name of the perpetrator to his/her governing body.
5. Where the counsellor is subpoenaed by court,
6. Where the client gives written consent to share certain information with a specific person(s).
